Parent-Approved Practice

AI suggests. You approve. Always.

Turn goals into practice your child can actually do. The assistant proposes strength-based activities — visual, audio, text, hands-on, or social story — and nothing reaches your child until you say yes.

Help that respects who’s in charge

You know your child better than any model does. The assistant does the legwork of drafting ideas; the decisions stay yours.

Nothing starts without you

AI can suggest goals, interventions, and materials — but a parent approves activation. The approval gate is the whole point, not a setting buried in a menu.

Built on strengths

Practice starts from what your child already does well and what they’re into, then stretches gently from there — not from a list of deficits.

Visual, audio, text, hands-on, social story

The same goal can be practiced in the format that fits your child today. You pick the modality; you’re never locked into one.

Social stories, generated with care

Create calm, personalized social stories — with optional images — that prepare your child for a new place, person, or routine.

Pause, adjust, or stop — any time

Approval isn’t permanent. Change the difficulty, switch the format, or pause a practice whenever it stops being the right fit.

Connected to real goals

Suggestions are tied to goals from your child’s Development Graph and decoded IEPs — so practice ladders toward something that matters.

Suggested → reviewed → approved.

Every suggestion travels through the same path. It waits in review until you approve it, you choose the format that fits, and you can change your mind at any point.

Frequently asked questions

What is Parent-Approved Practice?

Parent-Approved Practice is the part of The Autism Universe where the AI suggests strength-based activities for your child, and you decide what actually happens. The assistant can propose goals, interventions, and learning materials, but nothing is activated until a parent reviews and approves it.

Does the AI ever start an activity on its own?

No. The approval gate is deterministic and non-negotiable: suggestions sit in a review state until a parent approves them. You can also adjust a suggestion before approving, or decline it entirely.

What formats can practice take?

Practice can be visual, audio, text-based, hands-on, or delivered as a social story. The same underlying goal can be practiced in different formats, so you can choose what fits your child’s sensory needs and preferences on a given day.

What is "strength-based" practice?

Instead of drilling deficits, strength-based practice begins with what your child already does well and what motivates them, then builds toward new skills from there. It draws on approaches that emphasize connection, motivation, and generalization rather than rote compliance.

Is this therapy or medical advice?

No. Practice activities are parent-directed learning support, not therapy, not a clinical intervention, and not medical or educational advice. They are meant to complement — never replace — the guidance of your child’s providers and team.

Is my child’s information private?

Yes. Everything is encrypted at rest and in transit, scoped to your account, never sold, and never used to train AI models. Any images in social stories follow the same privacy and deletion guarantees, and you can export or delete your data at any time.

Practice that fits your child — and your judgment.
